Today is part of one of the busiest travel periods in the year. AAA predicts that travel will be the highest volume in a dozen years. It expects 51 million travelers to journey 50 miles or more from home (up 3.3% increase over last year). The increase is because of a strong economy and labor market, “fueling a strong year for the travel industry.”
