Bi-partisan bills in the House (H.R. 557) would provide greater savings incentives through 401(k) plans. It would hike the employer matching contribution for automatic enrollments in 401(k)s. Very small employers would get a tax credit for increased matching. This bill failed last year; let’s see what happens now.
