The first Friday in September was designated in 2013 by the Protocol School of Washington as a day to remind workers to be courteous and respective of others. Sure, it’s a faux holiday, but certainly one that makes a good point. One site suggests that managers or business owners should send a memo communicating workplace standards of good behavior. And this good behavior should extend to external communications, such as email. #IdeaoftheDay
