According to FAA rules, if you’re involuntarily bumped from a flight, the airline must schedule you so you arrive at your destination within one hour of the original arrival time. If it’s longer, you’re owed 200% of the ticket price (up to $675) for domestic travel that’s between one and two hours later; or 400% if the delay is longer (up to $1,350). Different rules apply to international flights.
