According to State of Menopause, the majority of women don’t feel their needs with respect to menopause are being met in the workplace: 51% want increased workplace accommodations and 76% have no workplace accommodations for menopause. Accommodations can be made through changes in work hours (e.g., unscheduled breaks when needed), physical accommodations (e.g., fans, temperature controls), and dress code changes (e.g., allowing for breathable uniforms).
