Newtek Business Services poll found that only 16% of owners expected to visit the federal or state healthcare exchange before the end of the year, perhaps because of the negative publicity surrounding the government health coverage marketplaces. Only 14% had done so already. The federal SHOP exchange for small businesses is expected to be open at the end of this month; self-employed individuals must use the individual exchange.
